Visit the galleries and museums of Matisse, Chagall, Picasso and Renoir. Enjoy Aix en Provence, a boat trip on the Mediterranean and the hill top villages of the Luberon Valley in Provence. Lyon: The summer music festivals. Jazz at Vienne by night and the explore the Rhone Alpes region by day, during the first week. Explore the Drome region and Provence during the second week, ending in Bastille Day. We will join the Music Tour 1 for the week of music in the evenings at Vienne, and then our small group of no more than 8 , will head south for sunflowers, hilltop villages and more. Great food and wine along the way.

Begin in Lyon with the annual potters market in old Lyon, wind your way north through the vineyards during the grape picking season in early autumn; enjoy wine tastings and visits to vineyards, visit artist studios, galleries, chateaux, picturesque villages to cosmopolitan Strasbourg. Return via Besancon and the Shlumpf car museum in Mulhouse.
